We are a CAA registered Flight Training establishment and offer first class training facilities for both practical Flying and Ground school studies at a very competitive price.  Train for the PPL Private Pilots licence, IMC Rating or Night qualification and other additional ratings. Will Holroyd Passes his PPL with The POM Flying Group

Will Holroyd (right) is the latest student pilot with The Pom Flying Group to be awarded with his Private Pilots Licence. He is pictured here with Humberside flight examiner John Vickers after completing his General Flight test on Sunday 30 March 2008. Will (18) started learning to fly at 14 and has gone on to complete the required training and examinations. His licence now allows him to fly single engine light aircraft with a Maximum Take Off Weight of 2300kg (5070lbs) throughout Europe. Congratulations to Will and Happy Flying!

 

Captain Hawkins! Congratulations to Edward Hawkins on gaining his CPL last weekend. Edward, who trained for his CPL with Mike Briggs at Triple AAA at Humberside Airport is a share holder of G-BPOM and the POM Flying Group. He now aims to train for his Instructor license later on this year. Well done Captain Hawkins!

Twin Engine Instructor Congratulations also to Dave Gibson CFI of The POM Flying Club, who has added a Twin Instructor Rating to his portfolio. Dave is now able to give instruction on twin engine aircraft to anyone who wants to learn through The POM Flying Club.

 Kevin Hogg has been signed off on both the Beech Duchess and the Piper Seneca, adding these to his complex single ratings, and Jet Provost ratings.

Five New Students for the POM Flying Group - 5 new students have joined the POM Flying Club to start training for their PPL’s this month.
