affordable prices delivered direct to your door – through The POM Flying
Club.
We would like to encourage as many people as possible to join The Flying Wine Club, so you don’t have to be a member of The POM Flying Club to join……in fact you don’t even have to fly to join! If you have enjoyed an Air Experience flight with us and want to buy your wines on line then please sign on to the web address below and register to become a member. Every one is welcome – the more the merrier!

Sally
Cluley is preparing to become Britain's youngest qualified pilot!
“ The POM Flying Club congratulates Sally Cluley on successfully completing her PPL training, passing her General Flight Skills test on Thursday 28th August after an intensive four week training course with The POM Flying Club at Humberside airport. Sally will be 17 on 28th September when she will be issued with her Private Pilots Licence to become the UK’s youngest Pilot. Sally who is a member of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets is also a glider pilot at RAF Syerston and has an ambition to train for her Commercial Licence once she has completed her education.
Sally admitted to feeling "Very good, excited about it as well!" - Well done Sally!

First Solo Flight! Congratulations to Robert Ashcroft has successfully achieved his first solo flight with the POM Flying Club on Thursday 25th September at Humberside airport.
Captain Hawkins! Congratulations to Edward Hawkins on gaining his CPL last weekend. Edward, who trained for his CPL with Mike Briggs at Triple AAA at Humberside Airport is a share holder of G-BPOM and the POM Flying Group. He now aims to train for his Instructor license later on this year. Well done Captain Hawkins!
Twin Engine Instructor Congratulations also to Dave Gibson CFI of The POM Flying Club, who has added a Twin Instructor Rating to his portfolio. Dave is now able to give instruction on twin engine aircraft to anyone who wants to learn through The POM Flying Club.
Kevin Hogg has been signed off on both the Beech Duchess and the Piper Seneca, adding these to his complex single ratings, and Jet Provost ratings.
Five New Students for the POM Flying Group - 5 new students have joined the POM Flying Club to start training for their PPL’s this month.
Fourth Aircraft to join the Fleet!
Coming
soon to the fleet – Cessna 152 will be arriving mid March for ab-initio
training and hour building rental. This aircraft is currently being
totally overhauled and is having a bare metal re-spray, a brand new
interior and a new avionics/instrument fit to full IR capability.
