Trial & Air Experience Flights in a PA28 – 4 seat aircraft includes, Instruction and pre-flight brief, plus landings – the flight time will also qualify towards your training hours if you decided to start training for your PPL. You will receive a certificate and photo of your air experience. Please note that your pre flight briefing will be additional to the airborne time of your flight experience – so 30 minutes means 30 minutes from start up to shut down of engine.

Cirrus SR22-GTS Four Seater

Trial & Air Experience Flights in the Cirrus SR22 GTS – 4 seat aircraft.  This is a brand new aircraft and has a very high-tech all glass cockpit that includes Engine Monitoring & Management System and full GPS navigational systems, plus side stick control yokes, and an airframe parachute safety system >>more. It climbs at 1800 ft per minute and has a top cruise speed of 176 knots (202 miles per hour). Specification includes Auto-pilot, de-icing systems and Garmin GPS Navigation. Family & Friends

When you come to The POM Flying Club for your trial flight – your family & friends can wait for you in or very relaxed and comfortable Club Room at The Wallgate Hangar. We have refreshments and toilet facilities and very comfortable chairs to relax in with plasma screen TV’s to watch – and we have a viewing area as well.

 In addition we also have a Flight Simulator using Microsoft Flit Sim 4 with full control yokes and pedals for you to try your hand at flying whilst you wait. Humberside Airport is featured in the flight simulator along with the aircraft types we have – so you won’t have to worry about those left behind on the ground. Don’t forget that for an extra £10 per person you can ride in the back of the plane! 

Helicopter Trial Flights

As we share the Hangar with Heli-Yorks Ltd WEBSITE – why not book a trial flight in a Robinson R22 (2 seater) or Robinson R44 (4 Seater) as well?– another exhilarating experience. Our staff will be very happy to arrange this for you.
